The first season of The Witcher got everybody’s attention because of the intricately woven storyline and performances by the lead stars. Henry Cavil shined through the show with his stellar performance as the titular character named Geralt of Rivia. The Witcher is based on a book which has successfully managed to inspire the other media to make a game and even a movie. The next season of The Witcher is due to release next year with its shooting almost about to get over.
2. Peaky Blinders
Another cultural phenomena which had its first episode aired in 2013 and since then it never looked back. The show’s fifth season ended in 2019 and the possibility of a sixth season is quite high because of the public demand and the cliffhanger ending of the show wherein Tommy put a pistol on his head in an attempt to commit suicide. Cillian Murphy has done a commendable job in the show and therefore it is a must watch.
3. Black Lightning
Black Lightning season 4 aired last month and concluded the entire arc of this great superhero who was shown to be retired in the first season and was pushed to re-enter the game because his daughters were kidnapped. The show also has ties with the Arrowverse as Cress Williams made an appearance as Black Lightning in The Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover. The show is highly popular because of the fact that it managed to make a less popular character from DC comics a significant figure.
4. Grace and Frankie
To all the fans of this funny show who were wondering when is the new season of Grace and Frankie going to air, the good news is that Grace and Frankie season 7 is due its release in late 2021 or early 2022 if the pandemic does not go rough on the show’s crew. The show is highly popular and is one of the best comedies to have ever been on Netflix.
5. Better Call Saul
The younger and better sibling of Breaking Bad which stars the talents of Bob Odenkirk (who worked in Breaking Bad as Saul Goodman), Rhea Seehorn and Michael McKean, the show is truly a magnificent spin off. There have been numerous reports and videos explaining how Saul Goodman is a better protagonist than Walter White. The sixth season of the show will be released by next year. Until then, you can binge on the first five seasons which are incredibly awesome.
