The Best Weapon in the Game Are Your Teammates

November 13, 2021 By raihan Leave a Comment

Rule of Engagement Number One

Even immortal Guardians can get overwhelmed. Most if not all activities in the game are made for teams of players, and winning them, solo is not really possible. You may have the best gear in the game, but it still won’t be enough. By the way, this is why some of the endgame activities require a team. As they say – communication is one of the major building blocks to define a great player. Improving your communication can evolve your game from simple callouts to being able to paint a picture of the current situation to your teammates. Good communication can keep you involved in a match and your head in the game. Where does a new player start, though? First of all, you start by Destiny 2 leveling up fast. You don’t want to let your teammates down by not being strong enough to deal with enemies. But once you get that, you’ll need to work on your callouts. The problem is – breaking a dead silence with random partners won’t be easy. Most often, your random teammates will have their own agenda, and they won’t care much about the teamplay. This is a serious issue because you’ll never be able to rely on them when you have no other choice.

One of the best ways to break the ice is to actually start talking. Yes, even though you ended up with random teammates, some of them, or at least just one of them, might actually be in your shoes. Meaning there might be just one teammate who wants to cooperate and work together. But you won’t’ know if they’re actually there if you remain quiet. That’s why talking is such an important tip to anyone struggling with team-based game modes, whether they are the PvP or PvE ones. Get into the rhythm of performing this task over and over. Narrating your movements or explaining why you’re doing something. Letting them know what your game plan is a great example of what to communicate with your partners.

The Common Good Outweighs the Personal Success

The best part about sharing your game plan is not actually the fact that you did let them know what you’re doing. The best part is when your teammates start to give updates on what they’re doing, and everything starts to seem to follow in your plan. Involvement is huge because players tend to get hyper-focused on something, but keeping the head in the game is very important. The second most important thing is learning to give callouts. Starting to see the difference between a good callout and a useless one is something a lot of newer players don’t get right from the start. The thing is – everything is a callout. Everything you see, do, or are about to do is a valid callout. Even when you spawn at the beginning of the match of Crucible, tell them that you’re making your way to point X or whatever. If you got sniped, say so. Tell your teammates where did you got shot from, so they can avoid that lane. The more you do this, the more experienced you will get.

On the other hand, you might personally be not in a mood for communicating, but you still want to win. What to do in this scenario? Well, playing with randoms isn’t an option because it’ll just turn into a miserable experience for everyone involved. In that case, you should consider using Destiny boosting that will give you a team of professional gamers to play with. With them, you won’t need to say a word if you don’t want to. When you’re playing in a team that always follows a plan or a strategy, you become a part of that plan even if you do little to participate in it. It is just this awesome feeling of being carried by someone who’s really good in the game. You’ll see how everything, somehow, falls into the right place and whatever happens, happens for a reason. Seeing players like that work is a spectacle, and you should really try it if you don’t want to concern yourself teaching randoms to communicate with yourself.
