1. Fern Pine Cafe at Holiday Villa
It is always wonderful to have dinner in a beautiful setting. Fern Pine Cafe offered a delicious buffet and a beautiful view of the Holiday Villa Johor Bahru City Center on the 9th Floor.
King crab legs, fresh shucked oysters, mussels and sashimi suspects are all part of the 5-star seafood buffet. There are many options for food at the buffet, such as beef salami, seafood jelly and prawns served with marmite sauce and fried crab and chilli sauce. They also offer live cooking outdoors and a barbecue station to satisfy your taste buds.
You can also order desserts like French pastries. Fern Pine Cafe offers a delicious buffet every Friday and Saturday, from 6.30pm until 10:30pm. For a full meal, adults will need to pay RM98nett while children between 4-12 years will have to pay RM49nett. Senior citizens may receive discounts of up to 20%
Fern Pine Cafe serves Seafood Buffet, Buffet Lunch, and Weekend Afternoon Tea. Prices will vary depending on what package you choose.
2. Oasis at Thristle Hotel
Nothing is more relaxing than enjoying unlimited food in an indoor garden or swimming pool. Oasis Restaurant offers JB Buffet every Friday, which is an Italian buffet that’s served from 6.30pm to 10:30pm.
You will find the most popular Italian appetizers such as cheese platters, grilled zucchini, and smoked salmon. Next, delicious Italian food will be offered such as juicy roasted lamb shoulder and rosemary, garlic, or hollandaise sauce, herbs crust salmon, chicken picata (roasted tenderloin beef), chicken picata, and various kinds of pizzas.
The buffet is priced at RM88 for adults, and RM44 to children 6-12 years old. Oasis provides a romantic evening for two with a candle-lit dinner for only RM380nett per person.
Last but not least, reserve your seats. There are 60 seats in the dining room, 12 in the bar area, and 20 at the poolside.
3. Seri Mutiara at Mutiara Johor
Seri Mutiara is the best place to find seafood! This Saturday night seafood buffet is served at Seri Mutiara Restaurant. There are many stations and options. Their oyster station will be a hit with oyster lovers.
All oysters come fresh from the sea. Oysters can be ordered to be torch-cooked with any sauce of their choosing by diners. The live station allows guests to watch chefs create mouthwatering meals.
As the old saying goes, there is always room to have dessert. There will be cakes, ice-kacang, and chocolate-decorated cones ice cream ready for you. Adults will pay RM98nett while children will have to pay RM53nett. Senior citizens over 60 are eligible for a 50% discount at the buffet
4. Cafe Para Para at Paragon Hotel
Cafe Para Para can be found on the ground floor of Grand Paragon Hotel. You will find a wide variety of international and local delights at this restaurant. Main dishes are made with ocean fish and served on an icy mattress.
Breakfast (Mon-Sun), RM48 nett/Adult and RM28 nett/Child. Mon-Fri: Minimum RM68 net/Adult and Minimum RM38 net/Child. Weekend Dinner (Fri-Sat): RM95 nett/Adult, RM48 nett/Child. Senior Citizen 20% discount.
5. Puteri Cafe at Puteri Pac Hotel
Puteri Cafe serves a buffet breakfast, buffet high-tea and buffet dinner. Their buffets offer a wide variety of international cuisines, including Indian, Muslim and Chinese. The lamb shank is tender and fresh and a must-have.
Enjoy their buffet breakfast starting at 6.30 am and ending at 10.30 am. Buffet Hi Tea is available Saturday and Sunday, from 12 noon to 4.30pm. Saturday Buffet Dinner is available from 6.00pm until 10.00pm.
