    Telescopic Poles

The pole will be helpful in everything, including brushing, vacuuming, and brushing. It’s very convenient because you can shrink or extend this according to your needs. This can give you a lot of flexibility when you want to clean the center of the pool or the sides, which will save you a lot of time and effort. Choose the ones that are at least 16 ft. long and made up of heavy-duty aluminum.

    Skimmer Net Attachments

If you’re wondering how to handle the stray leaves that have found their way into the water, then skimmers are the perfect tools for you. The net will scoop everything, including leaves, bugs, cups, candy wrappers, and more. It’s made up of a fine mesh that will help if you do some cleaning and maneuvering.

    Brush Attachments

Over time, you’ll discover a thin layer of algae on the floors and walls of your swimming pool. This can happen, especially if there’s no regular maintenance and the best way to remove them is through scrubbing. There are three primary types of brushes, and their uses will vary according to the kind of pool you have.

    • Concrete: Use nylon or stainless steel brush
    • Gunite: Use stainless steel
    • Vinyl, Fiberglass, or Concrete with Paint: Nylon brushes are Ideal

    Vacuum Heads

The vacuum is made up of three parts such as the telescopic pole, hose, and head. The head will do the actual vacuuming on the floor. This is going to work like a skimmer attachment or a brush. Once you’ve attached this, you can turn the power on and start cleaning the bottom part of the pool. Learn more about pool cleaning on this page here.

    Vacuum Hose

Attach the hose to the telescopic pole, and the end should be on the vacuum end. It will be worth it since it will give you more efficiency in cleaning. The hose supplies the necessary pressure to remove the leaves, dirt, dust, and debris at the bottom of the water. When you want the best results, you need to choose a flexible one with a built-in swivel cuff, and it should be at least 30 ft. long.

    Filters

Filters will keep the water clean most of the time. It’s essential to have this equipment since it will purify every drop of water in your indoor or outdoor pool. It helps remove contaminants, oils, debris, and dirt so the water will be safe and clean when you’re going to swim on it.

The best ones to choose from are DE filters, sand, or cartridge. Each of them has its pros and cons, but if you’re starting, a sand filter will be ideal.

    Filter Media

Different types of pools will use varying filter media and material. For sand filters, it’s going to be pool sand. Cartridges are for cartridge filters, and DE ones are for grips & powder. It’s best to have a well-stocked filter media at all times so you can easily remove and replace them whenever they are too dirty. This way, you’ll save time taking a trip to the pool supplies store, and you can swim anytime you want. It’s highly recommended to replace this at least once every three months.

    Pumps

The pump is the heart of any swimming pool. There are various types of pumps, but their functions include facilitating the filtration and heating process and circulation of the water. The water will go through the pipes, onto the filters, the heater, and back into the pool.

    Chemicals

Various chemicals will keep the water safe from germs. They will include sanitizers like shocks and chlorine. There are alkalinity decreaser and increaser, algaecide, pH increaser, decreaser, enzymes, and metal sequestrates. Get more information about algaecides when you click this: https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/agricultural-and-biological-sciences/algaecide.

If you don’t want to add chlorine, you may also get a chemical feeder or a chlorinator. This will allow you to add tablets on the chlorinator, adjust the feeding rate, and you should be suitable for a few weeks or more.

    Heaters

The heaters will help the water stay warm and rainy days won’t stop you. There are plenty of heating options out there that will give you the perfect temperature regardless of the weather.
