2. Drink Enough Water
This may not sound as glamorous, but it has quite a bit of an effect on your productivity. In fact, one study found that when there is even 1% of dehydration in your body, your cognitive performance decreases by 5%. Ensure you drink at least 2-3 liters of water daily.
3. Take small breaks in-between
Do you find your attention span decreasing in a long class or when you’ve been working non-stop for more than an hour? This is probably because your brain is exhausted and it needs a break. Taking a 10-minute break every 60-90 minutes will improve your productivity many times over.
Just don’t use any sort of technology during that break as it will have the opposite effect.
4. Make sure you do some physical activity

5. Set a time to check your notifications
We get hundreds of emails every day and often find ourselves reading one as soon as it comes in and even waiting for it. This not only cuts off the flow of our work but also wastes a lot of time. The best way to counter that is to set a time to check your emails, messages, and other notifications.
I suggest setting one every time you take a break for food. For example, once during breakfast, once during lunch, and the last time during dinner before you’re off to bed. That way, you get two things done at the same time.
