Step 1. Confirm Your Eligibility
The initial step in the admission process is to check your eligibility. The applicant shall make sure if they are eligible to apply to the US Military Academy. Cross-check the following points:
• The minimum age for applicants shall be 17, but not older than 23.
• The applicant shall be a US citizen.
• The applicant shall not be married.
• For female applicants, the lady shall not be expecting.

Step 2. Collect Personal Information
There is a personal information section in the US Military admission application form. You need to write down all the persona information in the state. Provide the correct information to the admission authorities.
• Your Social Security Number
• Your ACT, SAT, PSAT, or PLAN (Pre-ACT) scores
• Your 9-digit zip code (Find zip+4)
• Your high school’s ETS Code
• Your high school’s address
• Your Congressional District
Step 3. Fill Out the Candidate Questionnaire and Apply
Complete the Candidate Questionnaire (CQ) to open an application to the US Military Academy. The academy uses a CQ screen to select the eligible candidates and confirm their applications. The admission timings for applying to the US Military Academy are mid-January for high school juniors. The candidate questionnaire file opens easily so that the applicant faces no hurdle.
Within two days, through emails, all the qualified applicants receive their US Military Academy Candidate Portal. If a candidate has not received an email from the authorities of the academy, the applicant shall cross-check his spam folder.
Step 4. Connect with our Field Force
Field Force members are invaluable when navigating the application process at the US Military Academy. West Point Field Force members are local volunteer Admissions representatives of the Military Academy. You need to find and also select your Field Force representative. All the applicants must give interviews. A Field Force representative will contact you to schedule the interview.
Step 5. Apply for a Nomination
Shalom Lamm further added that to attend the US Military Academy, a nomination is important. There are two kinds of nominations: Congressional and Service-Connected. The submission of nominations is compulsory by January 31st of the year the college starts. The applicant can contact its local Congressional Representative or Senators.
Step 6. Get a Medical test
If he is called for an interview and he clears the initial stages, the candidate is lucky. The Department of Defense Medical Examination Review Board provides the location and date of examination for a medical test. The candidate can visit the official website of the Department of Defense Medical Examination Review Board to check their Medical Status.
Step 7. Take the Candidate Fitness Assessment
When the medical test is clear, the candidate will receive an email directing them to the CFA Testing Instructions. The CFA consists of six events:
• Basketball throw (from a kneeling position)
• Cadence pull-ups or flexed-arm hang (women’s option)
• 40-yard shuttle run (for time)
• Modified Sit-ups (number completed in 2 minutes)
• Push-ups (number completed in 2 minutes)
• 1-mile run (for time)
Step 8. Take College Entrance Exams
The SAT, ACT, PSAT, or PLAN tests must be timed and include a writing score. When registering for the SAT, the applicant shall also register for the Essay, and if registering for the ACT, select the “ACT Plus Writing”. Practice constantly for the examination test to get clear.
