Pakistan’s Kashmir Premier League is a Twenty20 cricket league that takes place in Azad Kashmir. The Kashmir League has a total of six teams, five of which represent the cities of Azad Kashmir and the sixth of which is made up of abroad Kashmiris who represent the countries outside of India. This will be the inaugural season of the Kashmir Premier League – KPL, which will run from August 6th to August 17th, 2021. All matches, including the Playoffs, Eliminators, and Final, will be held at the Muzaffarabad Cricket Stadium in Muzaffarabad, Pakistan.
There will be six participating teams in the Kashmir Premier League event, and they are as follows: Bagh Stallions, Kotli panthers, Mirpur royals, Muzaffarabad tigers, overseas warriors, and Rawalkot hawkes. Bagh Stallions are the defending champions of the Kashmir Premier League. All teams will compete for a single trophy and the honor of being crowned the winners of the Azad Kashmir T20 League championship.
Shahid Afridi is the Twenty20 League’s brand ambassador, which explains why the tournament has received so much attention. The President of the Kashmir Premier League is Mohammad Arif Malik, while the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the KPL Twenty20 League is Chouhdhary Shahzad Akhtar. Mohammad Arif Malik is the President of the Kashmir Premier League. Furthermore, Shahid Afridi has formed a partnership with the Charity Foundation on the basis of the Kashmir Premier League in order to aid humanity, which is a significant step forward in the effort to save humanity.
The Twenty20 league was established in order to identify and develop the talent of Kashmiris in order for them to have the opportunity to represent the Pakistan National Team as well as to see the true beauty of Azad Kashmir. The KPL League’s slogan is “Khelo Azadi Se,” and the league’s official theme song, “Rahat Fateh Ali Khan,” was performed by Pakistan’s most popular and talented vocalist, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. It was released in February 2021 that the official anthem for the Kashmir Premier League, “Khelo Azadi Se,” would be performed. Ali Pir Gul recently released the official rap song for the KPL Twenty20 League, which quickly gained popularity and was warmly received by the audience.
