Best Character Class in Dark Souls 3

January 2, 2022 By Rahul shakya Leave a Comment

Experienced players will already be aware of the primary benefits and drawbacks of each class and burial item, but newcomers to Dark Souls 3 may find it difficult to decide where to begin their long trip through the game. You may play the game in a variety of ways and even reset your attributes and look up to five times every playthrough, but getting a strong start is still crucial. Each class begins with its own set of attributes and armour and you will also need dark souls 3 fath build. When you initially start Dark Souls 3, your choice will have a significant influence on how you play. We strongly advise new players to begin with the Knight class, but let’s look at each of these classes and what they have to offer.

Table of Contents

  • Thief
  • Herald
  • Cleric
  • Knight

Thief

If you’re new to Dark Souls, do not start as a Thief. If you have a good understanding of how the Dark Souls combat system works, this is a class that will serve you well. If you’re not familiar with the Thief, you could be in for a long journey. You begin with a dagger. You should try to go behind your adversaries and backstab them for a large amount of damage, but if you’re new to the game, this may be more difficult than it appears. You also start with a bow and arrows, allowing you to launch a ranged attack right away. This is a tremendous advantage, but it also means that you’ll be spending souls on arrows rather quickly. Furthermore, you begin with greater Luck than any other class, implying that you will receive better and more frequent loot from foes. The dagger is also a great way to acquaint yourself with the fast paced gameplay of Dark Souls 3. getting to learn backstabs and parrys early on is a tremendous advantage, and this class forces you to do just that. While stealth is not a big factor in Dark Souls 3, the thief class does allow for some stealth at times, for it is one of the quietest classes in the game. It is also one of the lightest and fastest classes in Dark Souls 3, meaning it is good in PvP from the get go.

Herald

In Dark Souls 3, healing items are rare and far between. During fight, you only have an Estus Flask and not much more to heal yourself with. The Herald isn’t the most powerful class in the game, but they have a solid stat balance and come equipped with a healing spell and talisman so you can use it right away. You start with a shield that absorbs 100% physical damage, just like the Knight, and with strong Faith, this class is appropriate for anyone who wishes to employ miracle spells but needs a little more offensive strength than the Cleric. The Herald class should be the go to for most people aspiring to play as a mage. The healing spell really does come a lot in handy and can be a great tool for new players having trouble managing estus. The shield alongside the melee weapon means you can hold your own in combat too.

Cleric

Starting with the Cleric is a good decision because it isn’t one of the most difficult classes to play, but it does take some understanding to utilise effectively. You begin with the greatest Faith stat of all the beginning classes, as well as a modest Strength stat to aid fight. A talisman and two miracle spells are also included, as well as a basic axe and shield for close combat. With Dark Souls 3’s extreme dearth of healing supplies, this may be a tremendous help. However, keep in mind that you’ll need a couple Ashen Estus Flasks or frequent stops at bonfires to keep your FP gauge full and continue casting spells. This class is great for people transitioning from a strength or melee build to a build that focuses on both spells and melee. The spells alongside the acxe help manage this. This class can also be very powerful very early on once you get used to the playstyle.

Knight

If you have trouble deciding a starting class, look no further than the Knight class. It has the highest starting vitality, which is a stat almost every player invests a lot in and it comes cracked with enough of all other stats that you may proceed however you wish depending upon your playstyle. It also has the heaviest and coolest starting armour and a straight sword and excellent shied to boot. All this makes the Knight class a solid option for beginners who cannot decide what class to go for. The weapon also makes you acquainted with the straight sword and long sword category fairly early, which is a great weapon category and can be usedwith most playstyles.
