    Create a study place

Students should create a separate place for their study at their home. At this place, they will feel an environment like a classroom. This place should be free from all types of distractions or fixed for only homework, assignments, or class projects. Parents should motivate their children don’t study on their beds, beds only they should use to sleep. When students are provided a separate place to do homework, they can complete it quickly without overloading.

Make available all materials for the homework zone

Parents should notice that what types of tools their children require to do their homework. They can use a box or container to keep all material in one place. In this way, all things that children will need to complete their homework will get easier. They will not waste any time collecting these things while doing their homework.

    Remove all types of distractions.

Directions should be of two types external or internal. External distractions mean different technological devices or internal distractions mean hunger or thoughts. Children should need to remove all these distractions before they start writing their homework. These distractions may feel to students frustrated or have a poor understanding of their study. Parents also should try to remove possible distractions. In this way, their children will retain or work as much as possible. If children have their cell phones, then shut them off during competing homework.

Make a plan to do homework.

The plan is a crucial point for completing homework. Before starting an assignment, students make sure that what they require to write in reading. They should decide first what they want to write. When they plan about their homework first, they will take minimum time to complete it. Students should make plans about all-important deadlines or essential tasks. This plan will help students achieve their homework on time, but they can also write down some questions they want to ask their teachers.

Give importance to essential tasks first.

Our students need to begin their assignments with the most challenging tasks.

    Create a timetable

Students should create a timetable every day to complete their work. They can choose this time according to their comfort, like after school, before or after dinner, before going to sleep. In this way, students will be bound the whole week to do their home at this time. If they have a proper timetable with a schedule, they can do their homework with more focus and consistency. Parents can also make a timetable for their children to decide how or when their children should do their homework. It depends on the age of the children. If children are too young, they can take more time to complete their tasks or need more attention from their parents. Parents must include a break in the timetable that students can take during their homework. During the holiday they can become fresh and active again or can do their homework with more attention. They can get rid of frustration during this break. The frustration that they may have can take from an overload of homework.

    Provide proper guidance to children

Parents don’t need to do their children’s homework. But they should be available for them anytime when they need some help. If children can do their work without any help, parents should check their homework daily and ask how their school is going. Parents make sure to their children they are available anytime when they want some help. This behavior of parents will motivate or encourage their children to complete homework.

Get information about children from their teachers.

Parents should take all information about their children’s routine or performance from their teachers. If they get information on their own, they can help better because most of the children don’t tell their parents what they have homework to complete. Parents also can as to teachers about upcoming assignments and projects or can start planning this homework earlier.

Parents should become role models for children.

In every home, parents say to their children, do first your homework. But parents don’t just tell them to do work but also become role models for them. They can share with them some practices or their own experience. Parents can read some books or do some research to guide their children towards homework for solid reasons. They can get some knowledge or information that will help them to motivate their children.

    Praise your children

When children complete homework daily, the parent should praise their efforts. They can give them some rewards that will motivate them to do more homework. Parents don’t only praise their children’s intelligence, but they also can point out their efforts. Appreciation is vital for children to keep in touch with their hard homework.

Check frustration or stress levels of children.

Some students are those that feel so stressed and frustrated in doing their homework. At this time, they need help from their parents. Because these children are not master in understanding concepts, they feel trouble in doing homework. If parents want their children to become good students, they can talk to their teachers and check the frustration or stress levels. They should help them at the proper time.
